David H.M. Lambert

David H.M. Lambert is a Telly Award-winning voiceover artist who has also worked as a professional actor in the Dallas area since 1981. For 22 years, he portrayed the title role of "Ebenezer Scrooge" at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre and has been nominated for several acting awards including 2 Leon Rabin nominations and rated by the Dallas Morning News as D/FW's "Best Scrooge" when compared with two of D/FW's largest theatres, Dallas Theater Center and Casa MaƱana.

He has also worked as the resident sound designer for Circle Theatre in Fort Worth and The Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Dallas for many years and has designed sound for productions for dozens of other theaters around the D/FW metroplex.

David started his voiceover and audio engineering career in the early 1990s with Intelemedia Communications as their principal voiceover talent recording and editing voice prompts for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems.

To round out his talents, he has also spent 11 years in Information Technology managing servers and telephony systems.

After a decade in the IT industry, Mr. Lambert decided to pursue acting and voiceovers full time. Not wanting to spend precious money on expensive recording studios to produce his voiceover demo, he quickly took advantage of his eclectic skill sets by producing it himself using his own equipment.

Soon other actors expressed interest in having David produce their own voice demos. And Lambert Studios was born. Since then, we have produced voiceovers for broadcast and commercial use as well as corporate videos and TV commercials. Some of our clients include NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox Television, MTV, Cinemark USA, Six Flags Over Texas, and Toastmasters International.

Today, David's voice can be heard nationally and around the globe on radio, web, television, and film. Check out his personal voiceover website.
